Illustrated facts about homelessness
These illustrations were produced as part of my bachelor's degree. The brief for this project took the form of a question: “how can information design create incentive?”. I chose to look at the problem of homelessness. It became clear to me through my research that to incentivise the public to engage with helping I needed to tackle emotional barriers including fear, judgement and apathy.
In this series of illustrations, I aimed to address common misconceptions of the homeless through little known data; to illuminate the humanity of the figures we pass in the street; and to highlight their need for our help.
